Ancient Oils of Scripture
Holidays are often a time of gathering and sharing, reflecting and evaluating, believing and receiving. Holidays are also a time of stories told, memories made and, if celebrated as such, a time to feel alive with light, love, gratitude, and the goodness of an ever-present God that holds not only us, but the entire Universe together. This electric, magnetic force of energy we humans experience in its most highest form, Love.
Speaking of Love. Do you find it amazing that from the beginning of human existence woven into the fabric of nature was everything we would need to flourish? Not only instinctual survival mechanisms, but the ability to conceive ideas in our mind. Then actualize them. Such Ideas have revolutionized the human race. Essential oils being one of those revolutions.
Thousands of years ago, man took plant matter using its leaves, bark, flower, and rind to make medicine of all sorts. These leaves were used for the healing of the nations. But as time went on these powerhouse oils, tinctures, and sacred rituals became tales of old. Only left to be read about in ancient text, but not experienced by modern man.
However, just like any good story the tale doesn’t end there. There would come a time in history when that all would change, and slowly a movement back to Nature would be birthed once again. Who would be the heroine in this tale? Who could conceive the idea and bring it to fruition across the globe?
